Sound Factory Dublin provides complete guitar and bass repair, luthier and tech services. Working with acoustic and electric guitars all types of repair are catered for from electronic, structural breaks/cracks, setup, servicing to refretting, refinishing, and mods. You can drop in to the workshop whenever suits you best without an appointment. Most guitar repair work is completed in a week or less but turnaround times vary for different types of jobs with finish repairs and refinishing taking the longest.
Acoustic and electric guitar repair, tech and luthier services include;
Electronics; General repairs and troubleshooting, service and setup, pickup installation including cavity routing, pickup repairs and rewinding, component upgrades, custom rewiring, mods, guitar body cavity shielding and more. From €50
Fret Work; Full guitar refretting, fret leveling/dressing, partial refrets, fret repairs/rounding/reseating. From €95
Structural Repairs; Broken headstock repair, bridge reglue, crack/split repairs, internal repairs, cavity routing, bracing repair, neck resets and more. From €95
Finishes; Full guitar refinishing, touch-ups, dent filling, guitar relicing and custom artwork.
General; Replacement hand cut bone nut and saddle fitting, locking nut fitting, pearl inlay replacement, guitar restorations, general guitar luthier and tech services.
Guitar repair estimates are free and can be given either directly in the Dublin workshop or via email.
